1. General Information

1.1 Acceptance of Terms: By accessing or using TaxiPaxi’s services, you confirm that you accept these T&C and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1.2 Updates: TaxiPaxi reserves the right to update these T&C at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

1.3 Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to use our services.

2. Services

2.1 TaxiPaxi Services: We provide transportation services through our network of professional drivers and vehicles, accessible via phone, website, or the TaxiPaxi app.

2.2 Availability: Services are subject to availability and may vary by location. We strive to ensure consistent access but cannot guarantee service at all times or in all areas.

2.3 Vehicle Options: You may choose from available vehicle types (e.g., sedan, SUV, Maxi Taxi, Wheelchair Accessible), subject to availability.

3. Booking & Payment

3.1 Booking: Rides can be booked via the TaxiPaxi app, website, or phone. You are responsible for providing accurate pick-up and drop-off details.

3.2 Fixed Fares: Where applicable, fares are fixed at the time of booking and will not surge, unless otherwise specified.

3.3 Payment: Payments are processed via cash, card, or in-app methods. You agree to pay the full fare, including any applicable fees or tolls, at the end of your trip.

3.4 Cancellations: Cancellation fees may apply if a booking is canceled after a driver has been dispatched. Details are available in the app or upon booking.

4. Passenger Responsibilities

4.1 Conduct: You agree to treat drivers and vehicles with respect. Smoking, excessive mess, or abusive behavior may result in refusal of service.

4.2 Safety: Passengers must wear seatbelts and follow all safety instructions provided by the driver.

4.3 Lost Property: TaxiPaxi is not liable for items left in vehicles. Contact us to report lost items, and we’ll do our best to assist.

5. Driver Terms

5.1 Independent Contractors: Drivers operate as independent contractors, not employees, unless otherwise specified.

5.2 Earnings: Drivers retain 100% of fares when operating their own cab, subject to applicable taxes and fees. TaxiPaxi may deduct a service fee for app-generated bookings.

5.3 Compliance: Drivers must maintain valid licenses, insurance, and vehicle registration, and adhere to TaxiPaxi’s safety and conduct standards.

6. Safety & Liability

6.1 Safety Measures: All vehicles are equipped with CCTV and undergo regular inspections. Drivers are police-checked and NDIS-qualified.

6.2 Limitation of Liability: TaxiPaxi is not liable for indirect damages, delays, or incidents beyond our reasonable control (e.g., traffic, weather). Our liability is limited to the cost of your ride.

6.3 Insurance: Vehicles are insured as required by law. Passengers and drivers are responsible for their own personal insurance where applicable.

7. Privacy

7.1 Data Collection: We collect personal information (e.g., name, contact details, location) to provide and improve our services. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7.2 Usage: Your data may be used for booking, support, marketing (with consent), and safety purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Ownership: All content on the TaxiPaxi website and app (e.g., logos, text, design) is owned by TaxiPaxi or its licensors and protected by copyright laws.

8.2 Use: You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify our content without written permission.

9. Termination

9.1 Suspension: TaxiPaxi may suspend or terminate your access to our services for violating these T&C, fraudulent activity, or at our discretion.

10. Governing Law

These T&C are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of NSW.
